Stargazer Palisander Vineyards 2024

A precise Coal River Valley Riesling from Stargazer, the Palisander Vineyard 2024 shows the cool Tasmanian signature in a very composed, modern style.

The nose is lifted and detailed, with green apple, lime and grapefruit layered over yuzu, fennel pollen and a faint saline, coastal edge. There’s also a subtle flinty perfume that adds complexity without weight.

The palate is fine and focused, driven by crisp acidity and a chalky, almost sea spray texture that gives shape and length. Fermentation in ceramic and concrete eggs brings a gentle lees texture, adding softness without dulling the drive.

Excellent with oysters, sashimi, or fresh goat’s cheese.
