Hahndorf Hill Field Blend 2023

This is an authentic Field Blend, inspired by the Austrian Gemischter Satz wines, where 12 different white varieties are interplanted within a single vineyard block. The intimacy of these multiple varieties allows them to influence one another, thereby harmonising the development and ripening trajectory of this multi-cultural block. The fruit is co-harvested by hand and then co-fermented in the winery. This blend is therefore truly made within the field, and not in the winery.

This sublimely fresh wine, with its glittering core of minerality, features a juicy, natural acidity that illuminates the entire length of the wine. Crunchy lime zest, baked apple and gentle texture swirl within this racy whirlpool. Has a long and thrilling finish. Pair deliciously with raw, cured and smoked fish, shellfish, pork, creamy sauces, and South East Asian-style cuisine & salads.
