Chevillon Bourgogne Rouge 2023

This 2023 release offers a clear snapshot of village-level Burgundy with real finesse and restraint.

The nose is bright and lifted, showing black cherry, red berry fruit and a touch of liquorice over a subtle earthy perfume. On the palate it sits in the medium weight zone, with fine, lightly grippy tannins and a fresh, energetic line that keeps the wine moving rather than heavy. The finish is clean and slightly taut, adding shape and focus.

This is Pinot Noir in a more restrained, classic Burgundian style, built for early enjoyment but with a few years of development ahead.

Great with roast chicken, duck breast or mushroom based dishes.
